My recent escape to the Alex Monte Kastella was an absolute gem! We initially planned a quick two-day retreat, but the comfort and charm reeled us in for three extra nights. The sea view balcony was a real highlight - there's nothing like sipping your morning coffee while gazing at the sailing boats gently bobbing in the marina. I highly recommend grabbing the breakfast package; after two days of missing out, we finally indulged and discovered an incredible selection of made-to-order dishes up on the rooftop. Each meal came with breathtaking views of the Acropolis, making every bite feel like a morsel of history. We were welcomed by the fabulous staff, especially Demetri, who promptly whisked us into our room hours before check-in, a lifesaver for weary travelers! The location is perfect, just a short stroll downhill to several wonderful dining options and the marina. All in all, the Alex is not just a place to stay but a brilliant starting point for both adventure and relaxation in Athens. I can't wait to return with my fiancée for another slice of paradise!
